Solution finding
The right fix for the problem, worked out before anything is built or bought. Enquiry only: we talk it through with you before anything is agreed.
What it is
Working out the right fix or tool for a problem in your business. We look at what is slowing you down or going wrong, what you use now and what the options are, and then tell you what we would do.
Sometimes the answer is something you can already buy, or a change to how you use what you have. Sometimes it is something built for you. We say which we think it is, and why.
Who it suits
A business that knows what is going wrong or taking too long, but not yet what would fix it.
How the work is usually shaped
- We start by understanding the problem, who it affects and what you use today.
- We then tell you what we think the right fix is, what it would involve and what it would cost.
- You decide what happens next. That might be us doing the work, someone else doing it, or nothing.
- The scope and the price are set out in a written engagement before the work starts.
How an enquiry works
Tell us the problem in your own words: what is slow, what keeps going wrong, and what you have tried. You do not need to know what the answer is.
Tell us what you need
Your name, your organisation, one way to reach you and a few lines on what you want done. You can attach examples if they help.
We talk it through
We reply by phone or email, whichever you gave us, and talk through what you need before we say what we would do. Nothing is agreed or paid by sending an enquiry.
You hear what it would cost
What we would do and what it would cost comes before any work starts, and you decide whether to go ahead.
If it is not for us, we say so
Some things are better done by someone else. We will tell you straight, and point you to someone who can help where we can.
What to have handy
- What is slowing you down or going wrong
- Who it affects, and how often it happens
- The software and systems you use now
- Anything you have already tried
None of it is essential. A few lines on what you need is enough.
Please do not put passwords or sign-in details in an enquiry.
