How the subscription works

What Forever will include.

Forever for a golf course is $890 a year plus GST, per course, once we have mapped the course. The Course Map is its own order, at its published price, and is not part of a Forever year. Community rate for volunteer-run clubs with no full-time paid staff (self-declared): $445 a year. For a course outside New Zealand there is no GST to add. Your first paid year starts on the day your online map is first ready for you to use or the day you pay for it, whichever is later, and runs until the 1st of the month after a full year has passed. If that day is the 1st of a month, it runs to the 1st of the same month a year later. For example, if your map is ready to use from 15 March 2027 and you pay that day, your first year runs to 1 April 2028.
After that you can take another year at $890. Nothing renews by itself, and we never charge a stored card.
Each subscription year includes three hours of map updates: a new tee, a reshaped bunker, a renamed zone. We estimate the time first, and it comes off your hours only once you agree.
Unused hours carry into your next paid year only. Anything larger than your hours, or beyond the scope your course was mapped to, is quoted before any work starts.
New imagery for your area does not by itself mean a full re-map. We look at it with you and agree any larger update.
If the subscription ends, you receive a ZIP of your delivered files. Online access and updates stop, and taking a new year restores them.
After 24 months without an active subscription, hosted files move to archive. They are not deleted.

Planned

Coming to Forever for courses

These are being built with our first Forever courses. They are planned, and are not yet part of what a Forever year includes: that is the list above, and it is what your order names. We add each one to Forever as it is ready.

Course work. Plan the week for the greens staff. They tick each job off, with a photo when you ask for one.
Mowing plan. Set the week’s mowing by surface, with heights of cut.
Spray and fertiliser diary. Record each application, with the quantity worked out from your real green, tee and fairway areas.
Irrigation. See the irrigation heads on the map, report a fault and track the repair.
Pin sheet. Keep each day’s pin positions for every hole.
Course stock. Track chemicals, fuel and parts on hand, with stocktakes and where each was used.
Tree work. Log condition, pruning and removals against each tree, with a photo. A tree inventory is quoted separately.
Canopy and shade. See canopy height and spread for each tree, and which trees shade greens and tees in winter.
Soil moisture and turf quality. Record soil moisture, green speed and turf quality through the season.

What will Forever cost, and when does a year start?

Forever for a golf course is $890 a year plus GST, per course, once we have mapped the course. The Course Map is its own order, at its published price, and is not part of a Forever year. Time spent on mapping and approval before your online map is ready does not count towards your year.

Does it renew by itself?

No. Nothing renews by itself and we never charge a stored card. We send a renewal notice at least 30 days before your year ends, with the price of the next year, and you choose whether to take it. Each new year is $890 plus GST at today's price. If you do nothing, your year simply ends.

What will three hours of updates cover?

Small changes to your course map: a new tee, a reshaped bunker, a renamed zone, a drainage line added from a new as-built. We estimate the time first, and it comes off your hours only once you agree the estimate. Revisions in your first six months are not drawn from your hours. Unused hours carry into your next paid year only, and anything larger is quoted before work starts. Fixing our own mistakes never uses your hours.

We have two courses. Is that one Forever?

No. Forever is priced per course: a club with two courses is two.

What do we keep if we stop?

Every file we have delivered to you. When a year ends and no new year follows, you receive a secure link to a ZIP of your approved delivered files, open for 30 days. Online access and updates stop, and taking a new year restores them. After 24 months without an active subscription, hosted files move to archive. They are not deleted.
