Explore Baseline Farm
A whole farm map the way we draw it: 51 paddocks across 124.46 hectares (by fence), with the troughs, tanks and waterlines on it. Choose a paddock for its name, type and gross area, and switch between the imagery and clean versions, the two maps in every package.
Demonstration farm. Paddocks are numbered rather than named, and the map has been moved from the farm’s real location.
The customer portal is open, and holds delivered maps as PDFs. Baseline Forever customers will also get this as a private online map in the portal. That map is being built now, so Forever is enquiry only until it is ready. About Baseline Forever · Get a quote
Choose a paddock to see its name, type and gross area. Arrow keys move the map, plus and minus zoom it, and on a phone it moves with two fingers so the page still scrolls. The paddock list gives the same figures without the map.

Aerial imagery sourced from LINZ and licensed by Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand for re-use under CC BY 4.0, shown only inside the farm boundary and served from this site. The boundary and paddocks are mapped from imagery to the fencelines. They are not a cadastral survey.
What you are looking at
One dataset, drawn two ways, with the numbers beside it.
Imagery and clean
Imagery lays the paddocks over current aerial photography, so you can see the shelter belts, yards and tracks. Clean is the same data without the photograph: the one you print, mark up and hand to a contractor.
Gross area, by type
The schedule beside the map adds up every area on the farm: 121 areas that together make up the whole farm: paddocks, waterways, bush, races and the rest add to 124.46 hectares. It is gross area, everything inside the fence, so it adds up by fence. The printed map’s legend adds up land cover instead, so waterways and bush inside a fence are counted separately there.
Kept up to date online
Baseline Forever is the package that keeps your map current. The private online map, like this one with your own farm on it, is being built now.
